An elastomer based on ethylene propylene diene rubber for self-sealing rings, lip rings, self-sealing chevron rings and special seals for use in hot water, steam and aqueous base solution. It is not resistant to mineral oil based hydraulic fluids. This material is very resistant to ozone and aging processes. Application in brake fluids requires individual consultation.
